Trading Underwriter – Property & Liability

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous underwriting experience in Property and Liability. As a Trading Underwriter, you will strive to provide excellent customer service at every opportunity. You will understand what matters to the customer/broker and how that fits with Aviva’s plans and strategies.

About the role:

• Underwrite existing profitable business within guidelines and authority levels.
• Develop, build, and strengthen relationships with customers/brokers.
• Provide technical support and handle queries.
• Use stakeholder networks to deliver suitable propositions.
• Work independently within authority, consulting on complex risks.

Skills and experience:

• Knowledge of insurance products & processes.
• Knowledge of underwriting – Property & Liability.
• Good planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations and relevant legislation.
