This is a great opportunity for someone with previous underwriting experience in Property and Liability. As a Trading Underwriter, you will strive to provide excellent customer service at every opportunity. You will understand what matters to the customer/broker and how that fits with Aviva’s plans and strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwriting existing profitable business within guidelines and authority levels.
• Developing and strengthening relationships with customers/brokers, providing technical support and resolving queries.
• Utilizing stakeholder networks to deliver appropriate propositions and handling complex risks independently within authority.

Skills and experience required:

• Knowledge of insurance products & processes, especially Property & Liability underwriting.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, listening, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of FCA regulations and relevant legislation.
