Underwriter - Financial Institutions & Management Liabilities

Are you experienced in the Regional Financial Lines (FL) & Institutions market and seeking a new challenge?

We are expanding our Financial Institutions capabilities in the UK regional space and are looking for an Underwriter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and people skills, as you will negotiate with key broker partners, meet with large clients face-to-face for pre-renewal meetings, and develop our FL offering across the UK Regional network.

About the role:

You will be part of the Regional Financial Lines team, working under a Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS) underwriting license. Your responsibilities include underwriting Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers Liability insurance, and Commercial Crime insurance. You will handle renewals and new business aligned with GCS & Mid-Market strategies. Confidence in communicating with internal and external collaborators to achieve business goals, along with strong communication and time management skills, are essential.

This position suits a motivated professional eager to advance their career within a leading insurer.

Requirements and skills:

- Experience in underwriting Financial Institutions, Commercial Directors and Officers liability, and Commercial Crime insurance

- Experience in Cyber, Pension Trustees Liability, and/or Professional Indemnity underwriting is a plus

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Interest in business and macro-economic environment
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, brokers, agents, and clients to foster business growth
