Job summary

Thebes Group in London is seeking a Trade Floor Desktop Support Engineer to join our team with an immediate start. You will support both BAU operations and project-based activities, delivering high-quality service to front-office users on a trading floor.

You will have proven desktop support experience in a corporate trading environment, excellent prioritisation and problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor colleagues while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

5+ years IT Customer Services Support in a fast-paced investment banking environment.
Proven desktop support experience within a corporate trading environment.
Strong prioritisation and problem-solving in a demanding user base.

Responsibilities

Provide 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, network, VPN, and trading floor issues.
Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations per SLAs and ITIL processes.
Lead ticket diagnosis to resolution with clear user communication.
Support Windows, M365, Outlook, Citrix, networks, and core business apps.
Build and maintain desktops, laptops, and user devices to corporate standards.
Onboard, manage assets, lifecycle and software deployments.
