Job summary

Capco in Glasgow is recruiting for an Analyst in Finance, Risk, Regulatory & Financial Crime to support a leading global financial institution within Trade Surveillance. You’ll handle end-to-end corporate action events, reconcile related activity, and collaborate with traders and operations to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of financial markets and products.
• Strong financial background in finance or economics.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders across desks and clients.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and regulatory controls (CASS).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of corporate action income events across equity and fixed income products.
• Review and reconcile payables, receivables, ex-date, record date and payment date activity; investigate and resolve claims.
• Partner with traders, counterparties and internal teams to resolve exceptions and assess P&L impacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes and support change initiatives.
• Support mandatory corporate actions and tax reclaim activities and escalate risks as needed.
