B&Q Beckton is looking for a Trade Business Development Manager to own and grow a portfolio of TradePoint members, delivering sales and margin growth through proactive demand generation and long-term relationships.

You will build a structured pipeline, manage pricing decisions and collaborate with Store, B2B and Suppliers to unlock opportunities. A competitive salary plus a 20% quarterly bonus and generous benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving sales growth within Trade.
• Understanding of trade customers and project-based selling.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including margin awareness.
• Ability to generate demand and build pipeline independently.
• Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
• Strong planning, organisation and follow-up discipline.
• Full driving licence.

• Own and grow a defined book of trade members with sales and margin accountability.
• Proactively generate high-quality leads weekly through networking and market insight.
• Manage a structured pipeline from lead to outcome with follow-up routines.
• Drive repeat project spend and build long-term customer relationships.
• Make pricing and discounting decisions balancing conversion and margin.
• Use data to prioritise high-value opportunities in local trade.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to unlock growth opportunities.
