Job summary

Eurocell Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking Trade Counter Assistants to join our branch teams in Trowbridge. You will be hands-on, lead by example, and work with the Branch Manager to drive trade counter sales while delivering excellent customer service and product knowledge.

The role involves picking, loading and delivering materials, maintaining stock, adhering to health and safety, and supporting colleagues to hit branch targets.

Qualifications

• Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
• A hands-on customer focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
• A commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, whilst ensuring our customers always walk away happy
• Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative
• Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry standard software eg SAP
• A full and valid driving license is essential, and a FLT licence could be a distinct advantage
• Previous branch stock take experience could be a distinct advantage
• Comfortable to work in a small team and on occasion, alone
• Experience within a similar role ideally in a trade / builders merchant /retail, glazing or uPVC environment could be a distinct advantage

Responsibilities

• Hands-on operation supporting Branch Manager and Supervisor.
• Sell to customers and meet sales targets with product knowledge.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Handle picking, loading and delivery to customers.
• Plan routes, drive safely and keep vehicles clean.
• Support branch operations and maintain branch standards.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Maintain stock and front of house cleanliness.
• Work in a small team or alone as required.
• Assist with delivery of branch operations.
