Wolseley Plumb Centre in Ilkeston is hiring a Sales Assistant to serve customers at the trade counter, offer product recommendations, and build lasting relationships. You will handle quotes via phone and email, support branch operations, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

The role is full-time (40 hours, Mon-Fri 7:30am–4:30pm) with Saturday rota duties and overtime pay. Benefits include pension, annual leave, and employee discounts.

Formación

• Knowledge in plumbing & heating is beneficial.
• Proven experience in a face to face sales/customer service position.
• Great communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Great team player and willing to support in all areas of the branch.
• A full UK Manual Driving licence is preferable.

Responsabilidades

• Serve customers on the trade counter by understanding needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
• Build relationships with customers to drive repeat business and maximise lifetime value.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone & email and provide quotes promptly.
• General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock and picking & packing orders.
