Job summary

Eurocell Group Ltd in Swindon is recruiting a Trade Counter Assistant / Driver. You will work 44 hours per week, covering a 7am–4:30pm schedule Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota.

The role combines trade counter sales with delivering products via company vehicles and maintaining stock and branch standards. You will contribute to customer service excellence, plan routes efficiently and ensure compliance with health and safety.

Qualifications

• Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
• A hands-on customer focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with future customers.
• Commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, while ensuring customers walk away happy.
• Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
• Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry standard software e.g. SAP.
• A full and valid driving license is essential; an FLT license could be an advantage.
• Previous branch stock take experience could be an advantage.
• Comfortable to work in a small team and on occasion, alone.
• Experience in a similar role in trade/builders merchant/retail environment could be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on trade counter sales to achieve targets and communicate product knowledge to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
• Assist with picking, loading and delivering products via company vehicles.
• Plan routes, drive safely and keep the company vehicle clean.
• Support the Branch Manager with timely actions and activities.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and company policies.
• Maintain service levels and achieve branch sales targets.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and assist with branch operations.
• Support colleagues and maintain stock and front-of-house standards.
