Job description

Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join our Toyota Dealership in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role is initially available on a maternity cover contract for 12 months, with the potential to lead to a more permanent position within Listers.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis. We offer an excellent basic salary plus benefits, with a bonus OTE of £33,000.

You will be experienced in delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a busy environment. Working as part of a team, you will ensure smooth workflow, meet and exceed targets, and upsell our range of services.

Role and Responsibilities
  1. Book customer vehicles for maintenance and repairs, liaising with the workshop team to schedule workload.
  2. Meet customers on arrival and provide seamless service from drop-off to vehicle handover.
  3. Update customers on vehicle progress, authorize additional work, and make follow-up calls.
  4. Coordinate with Workshop, Parts, and Sales departments to ensure vehicles are ready on time.
About You
  1. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and able to build rapport quickly.
  2. Well-presented, with a positive attitude and desire to succeed.
  3. Experience in a customer service role, ideally with targets related to customer satisfaction and sales.
  4. Good organizational and administrative skills; knowledge of dealer management systems is a plus but not essential.
  5. Experience in the motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is preferred but not required, as full training will be provided.
