Job Introduction

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our Toyota Dealership in Coventry.

The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working 10am to 4pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

As a Sales Executive with Listers, you'll ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. Your role involves matching customers to the right car, with the appropriate features and add-ons. From financing to contracts, your goal is total customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Role and Responsibilities

  1. Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  2. Maximise opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet inquiries.
  3. Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximise profit.
  4. Adhere to FCA and data protection obligations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.

About You

  1. This role may suit someone with experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager.
  2. You should demonstrate an ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  3. Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  4. Potential to develop a successful career in the industry.
  5. You must hold a valid UK driver's license.
  6. Motor trade, automotive, or dealership experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
