Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Town Planner in Leeds to drive planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals for a specialist private consultancy.

You’ll engage clients and authorities, provide expert planning policy guidance, and help shape development feasibility while contributing to business growth. Based in Leeds, 5 days a week in the office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related field; RTPI accreditation preferred.

What we’re looking for

• You'll hold a degree in Town Planning or a related field, ideally with RTPI accreditation (or working towards it).
• You'll already have experience in either the private or public sector, with a solid understanding of the planning process.
• You'll bring a proactive, problem-solving approach and a real enthusiasm for specialist projects.
• You'll be confident in building client relationships and communicating effectively.
• You'll enjoy being part of a collaborative team and are happy to be office-based 5 days a week.
