Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd is seeking a Toolmaker in Blaenau Gwent. The role focuses on manufacturing, assembling, modifying and repairing injection mould tools to tight drawings and tolerances, with strong emphasis on preventive and corrective maintenance to extend tool life.

The successful candidate will diagnose tooling issues, support tool trials, and assist with root cause analysis for non-conformities, contributing to product quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Toolmaker.
• Experience working on injection mould tooling.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, modify, and repair injection mould tools to defined drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mould tools to ensure reliability, consistency, and extended tool life.
• Diagnose tooling issues affecting quality, cycle time, or scrap and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support tool trials, set-ups, and validation activities in conjunction with Engineering and Production.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for tooling-related non-conformities or customer complaints.
