Job summary

HellermannTyton in Plymouth is seeking a Maintenance & Technology (M&T) Engineer to maintain and improve production processes and to help implement new production from concept to rollout. The role requires a proactive safety mindset, CAD familiarity, and experience with EDM processes, tooling maintenance, and efficient maintenance planning.

You will collaborate with operators and management to meet deadlines and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Health and safety is a priority on site.
Assist with maintenance and inspection of tooling and equipment.
Familiar with CAD software and technical drawing standards.
Experience with EDM machine processes.
Ability to organise workload to meet deadlines.
Good communication across all levels of the organisation.
Team player with ability to work independently.
Willingness to adapt to change and learn.
40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 0700–1700.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve existing production processes.
Assist in implementing new production from concept to production.
Collaborate with operators and management to understand requirements and drive improvements.
Maintain technical documentation and drawings.
Machining parts for repairs, spares or improvements.
Assist Toolmaker and Maintenance Team with tooling and maintenance.
Ensure health and safety of self and others on site.
