Matchtech is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production and assembly operations in a permanent, full-time role. You will contribute to engineering projects, process improvement and operational delivery while working with engineering, quality, supply chain and production teams.

Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, creating manufacturing plans, and supporting design reviews with manufacturability feedback to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/production/assembly engineering.
• Knowledge of turning, milling and boring.
• Understanding of CNC programming and machine tool capability assessment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/manufacturing drawings including GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Act as a communication link between manufacturing, assembly and engineering functions.
• Support design reviews by providing manufacturability feedback and advising on machine tool capability.
• Participate in PFMEA activities, process mapping, root cause analysis and risk mitigation.
• Create, interpret and approve manufacturing drawings, including stage drawings and GD&T information.
• Develop manufacturing plans, works orders, routings, operations and technical packs.
• Design bespoke manufacturing methods and tooling while maintaining machinery safety requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement relating to quality, cycle time, process efficiency and assembly accuracy.
