Brandon Hire Station is seeking a Hire Controller to be the frontline contact for customers both in-branch and via phone. This role focuses on maximizing hire and sales revenue while coordinating deliveries and collections as needed.

You will ensure safety and presentation standards, perform daily compliance and H&S checks, and participate in stock takes. A customer-service mindset and good IT skills are essential to succeed in this busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service.
• Commercial mindset with focus on service delivery.
• Effective communicator with ability to influence and empathise.
• Good attention to detail and IT skills.
• Knowledge of local area.
• Knowledge of hire industry desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of equipment desirable not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers over the counter & on the telephone.
• Maximise hire and sales revenue.
• Cover deliveries and collections when essential to business demands.
• Ensure vehicles are always loaded safely and in line with company procedures.
• Responsible for appropriate branch presentation.
• Carry out daily compliance and H&S checks, as directed.
• Assist and attend stock takes as required.
