Qualifications
- Proven experience of delivering excellent customer service.
- Commercial mind-set and awareness of the importance of service delivery.
- Effective communicator with ability to influence and empathise.
- Good attention to detail and IT skills.
- Knowledge of local area.
- Knowledge of hire industry desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of equipment desirable not essential.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customers over the counter & on the telephone
- Maximise hire and sales revenue
- Cover deliveries and collections when essential to business demands
- Ensure vehicle are always loaded safely and in line with company procedures
- Responsible for appropriate branch presentation
- Carry out daily compliance and H&S checks, as directed
- Assist and attend stock takes as required
