Job summary

Marylebone Services is recruiting for a Toddler Room Leader role at a boutique nursery near Finchley Road (NW11). You will lead the toddler room, guiding a team of up to 8 practitioners to deliver engaging activities for children aged 18 months to 2.25 years.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supervising a team (up to 8 staff).

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Start Date: Octomber

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the Room: Oversee the daily operations of the toddler room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Team Management: Guide, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of up to 8 practitioners.
• Curriculum Planning: Deliver creative, age-appropriate activities tailored to children aged 18 months to 2 and a quarter.
• Parent Partnerships: Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers through excellent communication.
• Safeguarding: Maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance with EYFS guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent/above).
• Leadership Experience: Ideally, proven experience managing or supervising a team of up to 8 staff members.
• Right to Work: You must hold the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
