Job summary

Pearson is recruiting external Test Administrators to administer TIMSS assessments in schools across Northern Ireland. You will support online pupil tests and questionnaires, with training provided remotely to ensure standardisation.

Arrangements with schools, IT setup, and travel are part of the role; you may need an IT technician on the day. Training sessions and safeguarding checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching or working in a school classroom.
• Confident using IT applications for onscreen assessment.
• Experience of invigilating tests/examinations.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with School Coordinator or Principal regarding test day arrangements.
• Ensure enough computers/laptops are available for pupils.
• Administer assessments and questionnaires following international standards.
• Record start and end times, and keep accurate paperwork.
• Return administration documents to Pearson after completion.
• Ensure teacher and school questionnaires are completed by the test date.
