Pearson is recruiting external Test Administrators to deliver the TIMSS study in schools across Scotland. Trainees will be provided with online remote training and on-site support from a School Coordinator when needed.

You will administer pupil assessments and questionnaires online, ensure test security, manage timing, and complete administrative paperwork. Availability for February to June 2027 windows and travel to multiple schools is required.

Competenze

Experience of teaching and/or working in a school classroom.
Confident using IT applications, particularly for onscreen assessment.
Experience of invigilating tests/examinations.

Mansioni

Liaise with the School Coordinator or Headteacher regarding test day arrangements.
Ensure there are enough computers/laptops on the assessment day for all pupils.
Ensure pupils are seated for their assigned assessment and administer tests accordingly.
Maintain test security and adhere to international standards during assessments and questionnaires.
Record start and end times, and complete required administrative paperwork.
Return administration documents to Pearson after completion of assessments.
Remind schools to complete teacher and school questionnaires by the test date.
Set up Pearson-supplied devices (laptops) in schools as required.
