Job summary

University of Roehampton is seeking a Timetabling Manager to lead the timetable service, ensuring accurate teaching and examination timetables that meet curriculum requirements and optimise space usage.

You will oversee curriculum and programme data, module selection and allocation, and work with academic and professional services colleagues to align timetabling with the academic calendar and student administration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of timetabling, scheduling and resource allocation processes within a complex organisation.
• Understanding of complex operational planning cycles and their impact on scheduling, resource allocation and service delivery.
• Ability to analyse complex scheduling and operational data to identify issues and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Timetabling team with workload planning and staff development.
• Develop and maintain understanding of Syllabus Plus and Allocator and integration with Student Record System.
• Lead construction and publication of timetables, optimise space utilisation and ensure data quality.
