Rose Bruford College in Sidcup is seeking an experienced Timetabling Officer to oversee the full lifecycle of the academic timetable, balancing teaching requirements, staff availability, room capacity and the student experience.

You will work with Programme Directors, translate requirements into deliverable timetables, resolve clashes and support the Data team with data administration. This permanent, full-time role offers 35 hours per week and a structured timetable function.

Qualifications

• Experience in timetabling and complex scheduling in HE/FE.
• Ability to interpret teaching requirements and constraints.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning, creation, publication, and maintenance of the central timetable.
• Coordinate and review teaching requirements from programme directors and course teams.
• Translate requirements into effective timetables.
• Identify and resolve timetable clashes and constraints.
• Balance staff availability, room capacity, and student experience.
• Manage timetable amendments, queries, and room bookings.
• Maintain accurate information within timetabling systems.
• Support room allocation and space utilisation.
• Review timetabling processes and ways of working.
• Collaborate with the Data team on data administration tasks.
