Job summary

Rose Bruford College in Sidcup is seeking an experienced Timetabling Officer to lead the full lifecycle of the college’s academic timetable. You will plan, publish, maintain and continually improve timetables, balancing staff availability, room capacity and student needs.

You will work with Programme Directors to gather requirements, resolve clashes and translate teaching needs into workable schedules, with strong data administration support from the wider Data team.

Qualifications

Experience of timetabling, complex scheduling, or space planning.
Ability to coordinate timetabling stages with stakeholders.
Understanding of teaching requirements and constraints.
Organised, accurate and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, publication and maintenance of the central timetable.
Coordinate requirements from Programme Directors and course teams.
Translate requirements into deliverable timetables.
Identify and resolve timetable clashes and constraints.
Balance staff, room capacity and student experience.
Maintain timetabling data across systems.
Support data administration tasks within the wider Data team.
Review processes for continuous improvement.
