Job summary

Shillito Group is seeking a time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established Sheffield manufacturer. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on heavy industrial equipment, diagnosing faults and returning systems to service quickly and safely.

Reporting to the engineering head, you will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability across a range of plant and

• Fault finding skills essential
• Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and returning equipment to service quickly and safely.
• Working on a variety of heavy industrial machinery.
• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Working closely with production and engineering colleagues to keep operations running efficiently
