Job summary

Sphere Solutions is recruiting a Site Manager for timber frame housing projects in Cornwall. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage trades and site teams, and ensure safety, quality and programme delivery.

Applicants should have timber frame housing experience and hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications. The role is based on site in Wadebridge, with a competitive £60,000 salary plus car allowance.

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in housing / contracting?

We are working with a well-established client, looking to bolster their operational team and recruit an experienced Site Manager. The project will consist of high-quality, timber frame homes in a desirable North Cornwall location.

The Role:

• Day-to-day site operations, ensuring the build programme stays on track
• Managing trades, subcontractors, and site teams
• Always ensuring health & safety compliance
• Maintaining build quality and achieving customer satisfaction
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager and liaising with technical and commercial teams

About You:

• Proven experience managing timber build housing developments
• Background working with housing / contracting
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualified as a minimum
