Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a timber frame housing development in North Coast Cornwall. The role focuses on supporting the Site Manager to keep the build programme on track while overseeing trades and site teams.

Applicants should have proven timber frame housing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and car allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager on timber frame housing developments.
• Background in housing/contracting with strong leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations and keep the build programme on track.
• Supervise trades, subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe, efficient works to programme.
• Help implement and monitor health and safety procedures and site standards.
• Assist with quality control to meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Monitor progress, resolve on-site issues and report updates to the Site Manager.
• Liaise with technical, commercial and wider project teams to support delivery.
