Job summary

Fawkes & Reece are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a busy newbuild residential development in Congleton. You will lead day-to-day construction activities on timber-frame homes, coordinating subcontractors and trades to programme.

The role emphasises safety, quality and delivery against targets, with a professional site team and close liaison with the Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential projects, SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid, and a proactive approach

Qualifications

• Experience in residential new build housing.
• Experience managing construction activities on a busy housing development.
• Strong knowledge of timber-frame construction.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong health & safety and quality awareness.
• Proactive approach to issue resolution and leadership of subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day construction of timber-frame new build homes.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site trades to ensure works stay on programme.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across the development.
• Ensuring works meet required quality and specification.
• Monitoring progress against programme and addressing delays.
