Skilled Careers in Chertsey, Surrey are recruiting an Assistant Site Manager for a residential development. You will support day-to-day site management, ensuring safety, quality and programme milestones are met on a prestigious project.

Role involves subcontractor coordination, quality checks and customer handover activity, reporting to the Site Manager. Timber frame experience and NHBC knowledge are key assets; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction.
• Timber frame construction experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of NHBC standards and build quality.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card preferred.
• A proactive attitude and desire to progress within a successful business.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the management of subcontractors and trades on site.
• Monitoring health and safety compliance across the development.
• Supporting quality inspections and ensuring work is completed to specification.
• Helping drive build programmes and achieve key project milestones.
• Managing snagging and plot completions.
• Assisting with customer care and handover processes.
• Maintaining site records and reporting progress to the Site Manager.
