Job summary

Professional Construction Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major residential timber frame development in the United Kingdom. You will own plots from groundworks through to handover, ensuring safety, on programme delivery and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining NHBC compliance, managing RAMS and progress reporting, and liaising with senior management and inspectors to drive productivity with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager on residential housing developments.
• Strong timber frame construction experience is essential.
• Ability to manage plots from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on a large residential development.
• Take plots from inception through to final handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.
• Ensure works align with programme requirements.
• Maintain health & safety standards across site.
• Conduct quality inspections and NHBC compliance.
• Manage site RAMS, inductions, permits and progress reporting.
• Liaise with senior management, technical teams, building control and NHBC inspectors.
• Drive productivity while maintaining quality and safety.
