Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Welder in Tewkesbury to join a small production team. The role focuses on fabricating stainless steel pipework and performing TIG welding on 304/316 stainless steel.

You will read drawings, weld in 6G positions, and ensure high-quality, precise fabrication. The position offers a 37-hour week, pension, and holiday entitlement.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fabricate pipe runs and stainless steel assemblies.
• TIG weld predominantly 304 and 316 stainless steel.
• Carry out TIG welding in 6G positions.
• Measure, cut, prepare, fit and weld pipework.
• Maintain appropriate pipe and welding stock levels.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Follow safe working practices and maintain a clean environment.
• Collaborate with Production Foreman and Head of Engineering.

Job description

Position: Welder

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour

A specialist engineering manufacturer in Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced Welder to join their small production team. The company designs and manufactures bespoke aqueous washing equipment, with this role focused on fabricating stainless steel pipework for process systems.

Working primarily with 304 and 316 stainless steel, you will read technical drawings, fabricate pipe runs and carry out TIG welding using supplied equipment. The ideal candidate will be confident with TIG welding in 6G positions and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Welder Job Overview

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fabricate pipe runs and stainless steel assemblies.
• TIG weld predominantly 304 and 316 stainless steel.
• Carry out TIG welding in 6G positions.

Welder Job Requirements
