Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welder in Tewkesbury to join a small production team.

You will read drawings, fabricate stainless steel pipework (304/316) and TIG weld in 6G positions, using supplied equipment.

The role offers £16-£18 per hour, 37 hours a week, 27 days holiday and a pension.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable TIG welding experience.
• Strong experience working with stainless steel, particularly 304 and 316.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• TIG 6G capability highly desirable.
• Good understanding of fabrication and pipework.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a small team.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
• Based within a commutable distance of Tewkesbury

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fabricate pipe runs and stainless steel assemblies.
• TIG weld predominantly 304 and 316 stainless steel.
• TIG welding in 6G positions.
• Measure, cut, prepare, fit and weld pipework.
• Maintain appropriate pipe and welding stock levels.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow safe working practices and maintain a clean working environment.
• Work closely with the Production Foreman and Head of Engineering.
• Complete a practical welding test as part of the recruitment process.

The company designs and manufactures bespoke aqueous washing equipment, with this role focused on fabricating stainless steel pipework for process systems.Working primarily with 304 and 316 stainless steel, you will read technical drawings, fabricate pipe runs and carry out TIG welding using supplied equipment. The ideal candidate will be confident with TIG welding in 6G positions and comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.
