Fabricator Welder - Class 1

The COMPANY

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of turbines, combustion products, and generators serving industries such as Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and more. Their extensive product range has earned an excellent reputation across over 100 countries. We are proud to support their ongoing expansion by providing suitable local staff to enhance their team.

The ROLE

Due to expansion at their European Headquarters, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled welder/fabricating engineer and team player based in the factory to join the Manufacturing Department. Responsibilities include:

1. Fabricate parts from drawings.
2. Perform Class 1 Fabrication to BS EN 287, ASME IX, 15614, NORSOK M601 standards.
3. Prepare parts for welding (sawing, drilling, grinding, pipe bending, threading, weld prep).
4. Weld using TIG/MIG/MAG/Flux Core processes to class 1 standards on various joints.

The CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Significant fabrication experience.
• Class 1 Welding experience.
• Circular fabrication experience (advantageous).
• Mechanical background.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with X-Ray testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented attitude and motivation to contribute.
