Fabricator Welder - Class 1

Overtime paid at "time and a half".

The COMPANY

Our client is a well-established global manufacturer of turbines, combustion products, and generators serving industries such as Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and more. Their extensive product range has earned them an excellent reputation across over 100 countries. The ROLE

Due to the expansion of their European headquarters, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled welder/fabricating engineer and team player based in the factory to support the Manufacturing Department. Responsibilities include:

1. Fabricate parts from drawings.
2. Perform Class 1 fabrication following BS EN 287, ASME IX, 15614, NORSOK M601 standards.
3. Prepare parts for welding (sawing, drilling, grinding, pipe bending, pipe threading, weld preparation).
4. Weld using TIG, MIG, MAG, or Flux Core processes to class 1 standards on various joints.

The CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Extensive fabrication experience.
• Class 1 welding experience.
• Circular fabrication experience (advantageous).
• Mechanical background.
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with work X-Ray testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented attitude and collaborative spirit.
