TIG Welder / Fitter (Days, 40 h/pw) – Permanent - Shrewsbury

L & C Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a small but established precision engineering company on the outskirts of Shrewsbury for a new TIG welder / Fabricator. This permanent position is suitable for an experienced, precision welder / fabricator with a stable work history.

Depending on experience, the hourly rate will be £14.00 - £17.00 per hour. You will work as part of a small team, primarily with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Inconel.

Requirements:

• Must be an experienced TIG welder, accustomed to working to tight tolerances and various gauges.
• Ability to work independently from engineering drawings.
• Experience in the scientific or semi-conductor sector is advantageous.

Due to location, the site is not accessible by public transport but is commutable from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Shifnal, Telford, Welshpool, etc.
