Job Title: Welder I

Contract: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $23/hr.
Work Schedule: Mon thru Fri, 5:30AM-2PM

Job Description:

The Production Welder will perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on standard and non-standard assemblies. Responsibilities include de-burring, grinding, fitting components before welding, and finishing elements as needed. You will also block jig or position parts prior to welding and assist other operators as required.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform work from manufacturing information, bills of material, and instructions.
2. Utilize manufacturing information to determine necessary parts, jigs/fixtures, and obtain materials from stock.
3. Prepare components by wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding.
4. Handle scrap appropriately; record-keeping may be required.
5. Operate spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG welders, MIG welders, and cutting tools.
