Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
• Experience with positional welding on pressure vessels and boilers.
• Ability to butt welds (tube to tube) and pass tests.

Responsibilities

• Join a well-established manufacturing company as a TIG Welder.
• Perform welding tasks on stainless and carbon steel tubes and plates.
• Ensure quality by passing X-ray, DPI, and MPI testing.

Job Title: TIG Welder

Location: Walsall

Salary: £17-20.00 p/h

We are looking for a TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company due to an increase in workload. Our client is a leader in welding and high integrity fabrications within the oil and gas, environmental, and nuclear industries.

Skills and Experience required:

1. Minimum of 2 years industry experience
2. Coded welding on pipe and plate
3. Experience with 2G or 6G, TIG, MIG, and Pulse MIG welding on pipe
4. Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes and plates
5. Positional welding on pressure vessels, boilers, pressure parts, and superheater pipework
6. Confidence with 6G TIG welding
7. Ability to butt welds (tube to tube) and pass X-ray, DPI, and MPI testing
