Job summary

PSR Solutions in Birmingham are recruiting an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor. The role focuses on managing and distributing drawings, technical documents and project information, in line with company procedures and project requirements.

You will maintain document registers, control revisions, and support project teams across design, commercial and delivery groups. Proficiency with Viewpoint, Asite or Aconex, strong organisation and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Experience as a Document Controller within construction or built environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of document control, revision management and information processes.
• Proficiency with document management systems (Viewpoint/Asite/Aconex) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
• Control, issue and distribute drawings, technical documents and project information.
• Maintain accurate document registers, revision control and information trackers.
• Manage project information through Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Coordinate document workflows between design teams, consultants, subcontractors and internal departments.
• Monitor document approvals, submissions and outstanding information.
• Support Design Managers, Project Managers and wider project delivery teams.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurately recorded, accessible and distributed in a timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with document control procedures and information management standards.
