Fintelligent Search Ltd. is seeking a Broker Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of third-party motor claims with a focus on liability and credit hire. The role offers flexible working and a salary in the £28,000–£33,000 range with a bonus potential.

You will develop expertise within a well-established insurance business and contribute to ongoing development and progression. The successful candidate will have at least two years in motor claims, strong negotiation and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• At least two years' motor claims experience, ideally within third-party claims.
• Strong knowledge of liability assessment, negotiation and the motor claims lifecycle.
• Exposure to credit hire, disputed claims or more technical motor claims.
• Confident communication with a range of stakeholders.
• Methodical approach with strong attention to detail and sound decision-making.
• Experience working in a regulated insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of third-party motor claims from initial notification through to settlement.
• Handle associated property damage, liability and disputed claim matters.
• Investigate claims thoroughly and make clear, evidence-based liability decisions.
• Manage credit hire cases, including validation, negotiation and cost-control activity.
• Liaise professionally with insurers, solicitors, claimants and other external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim records and ensure activity complies with procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues while independently managing priorities and deadlines.

Are you an experienced Motor Claims Handler looking to take on more technical, varied work? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, regulated insurance business where you will manage your own portfolio of third-party motor claims, build deeper expertise in liability and credit hire, and develop your career within a supportive team.

You will have genuine ownership of your caseload, with exposure to more complex and higher-value claims. This is not simply a volume-driven role, your investigations, negotiations and decisions will directly influence claim outcomes.

What you'll be doing as Broker Claims Handler:

• Managing a varied caseload of third-party motor claims from initial notification through to settlement.
• Handling associated property damage, liability and disputed claim matters.
• Investigating claims thoroughly and making clear, evidence-based liability decisions.
• Managing credit hire cases, including validation, negotiation and cost-control activity.
• Liaising professionally with insurers, solicitors, claimants and other external stakeholders.

What we’re looking for:
