The successful candidate needs to be essentially an accredited therapist (or due to be accredited within a year) (HCPC/BACP/UKCP) with experience of eating disorders.

The successful candidate needs to have experience of working as a therapist with eating disorders. Ideally, we would like a therapist who has some training in eating disorders (for example, MANTRA, CBT-E). We are looking for a therapist to join our small, but extremely experienced, team of ED and Addiction Therapists for a minimum of 30 hours, with the option for full-time work.

The successful candidate would work as part of a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team with low-risk, privately funded eating disorder clients. Responsibilities include delivering group and individual therapy for clients on a 28-day (or longer) programme, participating in ward rounds, support groups, and outpatient therapy. Life Works offers a unique environment where clients receive high-quality therapy and nursing care during early recovery stages, within a therapeutic and community-inspired setting.

Located in Woking, Surrey, Life Works is a respected private rehabilitation centre specializing in addiction and eating disorder treatment. The facility accommodates up to 18 low-risk private patients in a Georgian house surrounded by gardens. Easily accessible from the A3, M25, and Woking Train station, and part of the Priory group, staff benefit from extensive training and CPD opportunities.
