Job summary

Riverside seeks a Therapeutic Support Worker to join veterans services, delivering person-centred care across two locations: Middlesbrough and Catterick Garrison. You will provide therapeutic input and practical support within trauma-informed, recovery-oriented frameworks.

You will work between Hardwick House Middlesbrough and The Beacon Catterick Garrison, driving between sites as required. Start date from 4th January 2027; 37.5 hours per week; permanent contract with Riverside’s values of

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification(s) or recognised training in the area of specialism.
• Specialist knowledge underpinned by theory and practice.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed, recovery oriented and co-produced approaches.
• Recent experience of direct customer work with vulnerable and diverse groups.
• Community based therapeutic or specialist practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, therapeutic one-to-one and group support to customers in line with service specifications and identified needs.
• Apply specialist knowledge to enhance outcomes and support colleagues.
• Deliver care and support tasks alongside service requirements and ensure person-centred approaches.
