Therapeutic Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary therapy team at Manor House School. The role involves supporting pupils with their occupational and sensory needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, and additional needs. Good collaboration and communication skills are essential.

About the Role:

• Implement a person-centered approach to support pupils' occupational and sensory needs.
• Conduct assessments, interventions, and prepare documentation, including reports and sensory profiles.
• Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Registration with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT.
• Knowledge of Sensory Integration or Sensory regulation approaches.
• Experience working with individuals with complex needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
