We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Specialist to join our multi-disciplinary therapy team at Manor House School. As a Therapeutic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with their occupational and sensory needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, as well as additional needs. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with a range of key partners and possess excellent communication skills.

About the Role:

• Implement a person-centered approach to support pupils' occupational and sensory needs.
• Undertake assessments, interventions, and prepare relevant documentation, including reports and sensory profiles.
• Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Registration with the HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT.
• Awareness of Sensory Integration or Sensory regulation approaches.
• Experience of working with individuals with complex needs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
