Job summary

Beaucroft Foundation School in Wimborne Minster seeks a dedicated SEND teacher (or experienced HLTA) with trauma-informed practice to support pupils aged 4–19 with learning difficulties and complex needs.

You will deliver personalised learning aligned to EHCPs, foster a therapeutic classroom, collaborate with therapists and external agencies, and model best SEMH practice while upholding THRIVE values.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher or experienced HLTA with SEND experience.
• Strong understanding of SEMH and trauma-informed practice.
• Excellent communication with pupils, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead, deliver and support personalised learning programs aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Create a therapeutic classroom environment focused on regulation and safety.
• Apply Therapeutic Thinking to support behaviour and resilience.
