Job summary

Pebbles Care Limited is seeking a Residential Child Care Worker to join our team. This full-time role involves delivering tailored care to children aged 8–18, across a rota that includes sleep hours and shifts.

You will drive to various activities, support home life routines, and contribute to a positive, therapeutic environment. We offer a starting salary of £35,468.95 to £37,043.94 per annum, pro rata, with generous leave, pension, health plan, and development funding.

Qualifications

• Dedication to safeguarding children.
• Resilience to handle challenging behaviours.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 or 2:1 support to young people.
• Assist with transporting children to school, appointments and activities (full UK manual driving licence required).
• Work as part of a shift-based team averaging 56.4 hours per week (including sleep hours).
• Participate in rota pattern and contribute to learning and development plans.
