We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking radiographer to join our radiotherapy team as a pre-treatment senior radiographer.
You will be an experienced therapeutic radiographer with excellent communication, leadership, and teamworking skills, ready to help run a busy pre-treatment unit in a friendly, modern radiotherapy department.
This role involves the day-to-day management of the radiotherapy patient workload and leading a team of radiographers on one of our new linear accelerators at our main site at the General or at our satellite centre in Basingstoke. Other areas of rotational work include pre-treatment, DXR, and our new Brachytherapy suite. Additional opportunities include TBI and SABR, providing safe, patient-centered care. We are also a regional sarcoma centre, a tertiary referral centre for Neuro-oncology (delivering SRS/T), and our main site uniquely offers Intraoperative Radiotherapy (IOERT) for pancreatic and GI tumours. We are the first UK centre to have Exactrac Dynamic on 3 of our 7 Linacs, providing sub-millimetre correction via stereoscopic imaging with 6 degrees of freedom correction. Other linacs and CTs (including 4DCT) feature Align RT for thermal and surface-guided setup and tracking.

Our department has over 80 radiographers and advanced practitioners delivering high-quality radiotherapy to over 3,500 cancer patients annually.
The department operates 7.5-hour shifts between 07:00-20:00, Monday to Friday, with on-call services for MSCC patients during weekends.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum (pro rata).
