Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team.

You will work with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers, Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report to the Unit Manager and also receive support from a Clinical Lead.

As a Radiographer at Alliance Medical, you will be responsible for following protocols and procedures to produce high-quality images and deliver exceptional patient and customer care. Our focus is on teamwork, providing the best service in an environment that encourages learning, development, and support.

The ideal candidate will perform a variety of MRI examinations. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience and further develop their career. The successful candidate should have a flexible, patient-focused attitude and be able to work flexibly within the team. Building rapport with patients and customers (both internal and external) and maintaining high standards of care and service are essential.

Requirements include:

  1. 1-2 years MRI experience with the ability to organize and work effectively within a team.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT literacy.
  3. Experience performing different types of MRI scans routinely.
  4. Previous cannulation experience is advantageous.
  5. IV Cannulation skills are essential (training will be provided if needed).
  6. Evidence of clinical competency.
  7. Flexible approach to work.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  10. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  11. Innovative, forward-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  12. Attention to detail.
  13. IT literacy.
  14. Ability to work under pressure both independently and in a team.
  15. HCPC registration.
