Job summary

Create Education in Northwest London is seeking two Therapeutic Integration Practitioners (TIPs) to support pupils with SEMH and complex needs in a specialist educational setting. You will provide 1:1 and small-group therapeutic and pastoral support, build trusting relationships, help with emotional regulation, and work with teachers and therapists within a multidisciplinary team.

Male candidates only due to occupational requirement; DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain; safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience working with children/young people in SEN/SEMH settings.
• Experience supporting challenging behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Calm, patient and emotionally resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group therapeutic and pastoral support to pupils.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and social development.
• Implement individualised strategies and therapeutic interventions.
• Respond calmly to challenging or distressed behaviour.
• Work with teachers, therapists, SEN staff and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reviews.
• Promote a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils in developing independence and resilience.
