Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is helping a national care group recruit Therapeutic Support Workers to deliver therapeutic care, education and treatment to vulnerable children. The role is based in Saxmundham or Ipswich, with assignment to a home based on preference and shift work including mornings, evenings and sleep-ins.

A fully funded training programme offers Level 3, 4 and 5 qualifications in residential childcare, with excellent progression into management and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (desirable)
• Full training provided will support you to deliver care to children
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing

We are looking for Therapeutic Support Workers in either Saxmundham or Ipswich, you would be assigned to either home dependent on your preference.

On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you an excellent career progression into management including Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications in residential childcare.

This is role includes shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep in shifts so you must be flexible to commit to all.You will need to complete an application form also.

• Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (desirable as full training provided)
• Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
• Display yourself as an appropriate role model

• Encourage positive life experiences for the children
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of others
• Driving License (full) and own vehicle
