Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is assisting a client running a 5-bed residential children's home in the UK. The role focuses on supporting vulnerable young people through trauma-informed care, building trust, and promoting healthy routines in a demanding but rewarding environment.

The position is full-time and permanent with shifts including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. A driver with a UK licence is required, and sponsorship cannot be offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
• Ability to work long shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Driver with UK driving licence (sponsorship not offered).

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join my clients 5 bed residential children's home supporting some of the UK's most vulnerable children and young people.This is a trauma-informed environment where patience, resilience, consistency and genuine care are essential.

This role requires real dedication and heart, as you will be supporting young people who may have experienced significant trauma and challenging life experiences.

The role also requires flexibility, with long shifts including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts.
