Cygnet Meadow Mews is seeking an Activity Co-ordinator to plan and deliver meaningful activities for men in care, working with an Occupational Therapist and the wider team.

You will promote wellbeing, independence and daily living skills through a range of therapeutic and recreational programmes. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, at Meadow Mews in Tipton, United Kingdom.

Formación

• Experience and/or genuine passion for healthcare, mental health, learning disability services or social care.
• Knowledge or understanding of Occupational Therapy.
• Creative flair and ability to plan engaging activities.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Positive, patient and flexible approach.
• Interest in supporting people with complex needs and behaviours.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, deliver and promote therapeutic, recreational, social and wellbeing activities.
• Support individuals to access activities and maintain interests.
• Assist with planning therapy programmes and sourcing materials.
• Contribute ideas for events and group sessions.
• Ensure activities are safe and aligned with care plans and risk assessments.
• Promote recovery, independence and social inclusion.
• Collaborate with the wider clinical, care and support team.
